• Leading and professional support of the accounting department and tax accountant
  • Management of ledger accountancy (delimitation, provisions etc.)
  • Reconciliation of local and IFRS ledgers
  • Preparing annual Hungarian account reports
  • Organizing and coordinating audits
  • Ensuring the compliance of the Hungarian Accounting law (preparing codes, protocols etc)
  • Organizing and coordinating the tasks related to monthly/quaterly and annual closing
  • Documentation and preservation of accounting documents
  • Ensuring the up-to-date and professional knowlede of the accounting department
  • Preparing year end closing (including inventories)
  • Checking the deadlines, pay attention to legislative changes, working out processes and regulations
  • Preparing reports, financial statements, preparaton and coordination of audits
  • Cooperation with controlling teams
  • Managing the cooperation with banks
  • Managing the accounting team to efficient and punctual performance


  • University or College degree
  • Fluent English knowledge
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in accounting / finance
  • Controllig and reporting knowledge
  • Knowledge of an ERP system (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.)
  • Strong Microsoft Office knowledge including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • IFRS experience is an advantage
  • Proactive, innovative mindset
